Fabulous! Shhhh don’t tell everyone! What an absolutely fantastic air bnb-the best place we’ve stayed in and we’ve stayed in Swanage for 25 + years. For the floof-dog bowls, treats and a park right outside the door. Ours loved her stay, Swanage is becoming more and more dog friendly, the main beach is off limits May to Sept to be expected. The park has the coastal path and great cliff walks up to Durlston. For the humans-comfortable beds, quality towels and bedding, super equipped kitchen, much appreciated welcome pack on arrival (scones, milk, tea & coffee). Great location, quiet and only 3 minutes into town. Lovely sunny courtyard. We will be rebooking Belvedere! Thanks Jackie & Steve for sharing your place and for being so helpful.

We loved the house, the view and the surroundings. We spend 6 days and did not get bored. There are lots of things to see and do and we especially enjoyed all our walks. Our dog Bram never had a better holiday starting with the welcome bag with goodies, dog cookies, his bowls ready and a big park in front of the house where he could walk without a leash. Also we never had a stay like this in which the host thought of literally everything. Coffee, tea and fresh scones and all the necessities you can imagine. We are coffee lovers and the only thing we missed was a Nespresso machine though there is a French press. The kitchen is fully equipped. We love cooking a home made meal and did not miss any utensil. The beds slept great which is a big plus. There are many books, DVD’s and games enough to enjoy a rainy day inside the home. We are happy we chose to stay at Belvedere Lodge!

What a superb flat in a wonderful location with a park just across the road (great if you have a dog!) It was warm and cosy and had a great view across to Harry's Rocks. By far the best Airbnb we have ever stayed in. Right from the moment we walked in the front door we knew we would love it. It was warm, welcoming and so clean. The welcome pack was such a lovely touch with the scones, fresh coffee and chocolate. Steve and Jackie have really gone all out to make this a real gem, and the views from Belvedere lodge are just amazing. We would have no hesitation returning to this beautiful spot in swanage.

Belvedere is a beautiful place in a perfect location. on arrival it was warm, cosy and spotless and the welcome tray was a lovely addition. We felt at home right away. We have been coming to Swanage for many years, but this is our first visit to Belvedere Lodge. From the moment we stepped inside we knew we would love it. Right down to the finishing touches and welcome package. The apartment was immaculate, testament to the cleaning team. Perfect location for the many beautiful walks, and the views from here are jsut amazing, even when it's all wet and windy. A massive thank you to Steve and Jackie, and we look forward to returning again soon.

The most special home away from home! So cosy and warm (even in the freezing December temperatures!) with absolutely stunning views across the downs and Swanage bay - you can even see the pier! Very clean and comfortable - felt like a little slice of luxury in a seaside town. The flat was well kitted out too - we made a few home cooked meals with ease in the kitchen and loved playing some of the board games. So many beautiful walks too a stones throw away too - Durlston country park just up the road, is a must! Kind, lovely hosts that even left us a scones for cream tea and some luxury chocolate for our arrival!! We will definitely be back again!

Such a wonderful home away from home! Steve and Jackie have thought of everything to make it convenient with lots of modern touches in a beautiful Victorian building. So relaxing - you can go for cliff walks from the front door and there's lots of great food options (we had an excellent roast at the Black Swan Inn). Will definitely be back!

We loved our stay at the flat it was cosy and with a well equipped kitchen, newly renovated and in the perfect location to walk down the road to the beach and Swanage town. We went out and about for some day trips while we were there to discover more of Dorset and the beautiful coastline but were happy to return to the flat at the end of each day. Highly recommend staying here!

So lovely we have booked another break! Thank you for the welcome tray and doggie treats - they were most apprectiated. We've had the most relaxing four days. The weather has been kind and we've discovered what a suntrap the courtyard is. Beds are comfy and the apartment is beautiful. Cleo and I have most enjoyed early morning walks on the beach with a coffee in hand, the downs outside the door have made a tea time walk too! we're looking forward to returning in the Autumn.

This was a treat from our family to clelebrate our golden wedding anniversary, our honeymoon was in Swanage (in a grotty cold flat, in snowy windy March) this was much better! Highly recommend this apartment for many reasons! The apartment is very stylish but also extremely comfortable. Small touches were great, like tea, coffees, milk, biscuits and chocolate on arrival were great after long journey! Also soap and hand wash were great touches too. This is a beautiful holiday home! The place was stunning, and so thoughtfully decorated and furnished. It was spotless too! It was the little touches which made it a home from home, the hosts had thought of everything. The bed was the best we had slept in, and the fluffy towels were a 5 star hotel touch. The location is fantastic, just a five minute walk into town and to the great beaches. We really enjoyed our time there, and highly recommend the holiday home and hosts.

Gluten free from the Fish Plaice an unexpected surprise! Durlston and SWCP were amazing, if muddy! very well signposted. We've left our loyalty card for Pier Cafe - recommend the salads and lattes!

From the minute we walked through the door we loved the Lodge. It lives up to the pictures on the website!! Back for our 3rd visit. Once again warm welcome. love the new bathroom. this year’s breakfast place was the cafe on the pier. Dogs allowed inside and out. Ferry to Poole makes a lovely day out. We finally made it! After having our holiday moved from 2020 due to the horrible covid19 conditions. We have had a most wonderful week this week. The weather has been kind to us and Belvedere Lodge as comfy/cosy as ever. Swanage is stunning as always, we never tire of it! we will be back!!!

We stayed in Belvedere Lodge in April and had such a wonderful time there, we felt at home as soon as we walked through the door. The lodge is so beautifully decorated and furnished and we didn’t find ourselves wanting for anything. It is perfectly located, just a few minutes from the seafront and we spent lots of time exploring the local sights. Swanage is a truly beautiful town. I would 100% recommend Belvedere Lodge to anyone looking to get away for a restful and peaceful trip.

Our dog loved being so close to exciting walks and we all loved popping down to the The 1859 Pier Cafe & Bistro for breakfast. We hope to be back there as soon as it is possible!

Been back to Belvedere Lodge many times now and it’s our go to place in Swanage without a doubt. Not only does it fit our needs having two dogs now, but has such lovely decor, with all the facilities we need, we feel it’s like our second home. There is nothing better than a cuppa sat in the lovely back garden on the sun lounger, it’s a real sun trap, and how could the location be any better than to be able to stroll down to the town for a sunset cocktail. We will be back many more times

Fantastic stay in Swanage over the Christmas period. Great atmosphere and well decorated village in all sorts of colours. Even better was to come back to Belvedere Lodge. For a family stay it is superb and cosy. A thoughtful welcome pack from the Host was a lovely touch and especially the mini xmas tree. No doubt I will be back here again to see more of the picturesque beaches.

Just had an amazing week in Swanage. Stayed in this lovely place. It has everything you need and more. Period apartment but feels like a cottage. Two lovely courtyards. The front courtyard looks out over the sea. The back one early evening with the birds singing in the trees. Great to have parking bay. Everything is close by, the sea, the pier, lovely cafe and shop. High street just short stroll away. Lovely shops, beach, cafes and restaurants. The owners are friendly if you need to contact them. A lovely welcome tray greeted me when I walked into the kitchen. Lovely snug lounge with all the electronic gadgets you need. Both bedrooms a good size. I will definitely come here again.... very relaxing.. and lots of national trust things near by which is great if you are a member like me.
My friends joined me from Tues lunchtime of Oct half term week. The weather was beautiful and so was the Jurassic coastline. Fantastic thoroughly recommend.

A beautiful two bedroom, ground floor accommodation perfectly located in the small, traditional seaside town of Swanage. The lodge is furnished to a five star standard and provided us with a warm and cosy base. It was exceptionally clean and welcoming. We stayed as a family of four and it had everything we could have needed and more. The beds are made up with high quality linen and there are plenty of large fluffy towels to use within the lodge. The kitchen has everything you could possibly need including a dishwasher, washer dryer and huge oven. Along with a lovely welcome tray the kitchen also had detergents, towels, foil etc.... so you need not take anything with you. In fact throughout the lodge every little detail has been thought out with books, local information, dvd's, games and additional technology. A storage cupboard in the rear courtyard contained everything you need for a day on the beach, you just need your own beach towels so packing is minimal. A comprehensive information folder is provided for the lodge and surrounding area. There is also a guest book where previous guests have left restaurant and local attraction recommendations. We felt very at home and sad to leave but we will returning time and time again I'm sure.
